Health insurance
Will my health insurance cover the massage?
Yes, in most cases partly. SADEA is recognised by health insurers: depending on your plan, supplementary insurance for complementary medicine covers part of the cost of medical massage, lymphatic drainage and other treatments. Basic insurance does not pay for massages.
The amount depends on your plan. Check briefly with your insurer before your first treatment — I am happy to give you all the details you need.
You pay for the treatment yourself first and are then reimbursed by your insurer – no deductible and no medical prescription required.

About Sanja
Who will treat me at SADEA?
I am Sanja Muncan and I run SADEA GmbH in Zurich-Oerlikon. What drives me: “To help people and strengthen their well-being”. I take time for every person, listen and tailor the treatment to you.
I work professionally, dynamically and with motivation. As an English-speaking massage therapist in Zurich, I treat you personally in English, German or Italian at the practice at Schaffhauserstrasse 311, in a calm atmosphere and without time pressure.

My name is Sanja Muncan. I was born on 4 July 1993 and grew up in beautiful Ticino. I have been living and working in Zurich since 2017.
My career began with training as a pharmacy assistant. I then spent a year in the field of health and social care. After that, I decided to follow my passion for the human body and health, and completed a two-year training as a medical masseuse, which I finished in 2017 with the Swiss federal diploma.
My passion for medical massage
What I particularly value about my profession is the contact with people. Everyone brings their own story, their own needs and their own complaints. It is important to me to listen carefully, understand individual needs and offer a treatment that is tailored to each person.
My aim is to relieve pain and muscular tension while creating an atmosphere in which my patients feel comfortable, understood and in good hands.
For me, there is hardly anything more rewarding than going home at the end of a working day and saying to myself: “Wow, today I was able to help someone ease their pain and feel better.” It is exactly these moments that fill me with joy and make my profession so valuable to me.
People are at the heart of what I do
I am a cheerful, open and warm-hearted person. Respect, trust and empathy are the foundation of every treatment for me. I want to take time for my patients and meet them with attention and understanding.
Outside of work, I also enjoy the beautiful things in life. I love spending time with my family, looking after my garden or letting my creativity run free in the kitchen. These moments give me energy, joy and balance.
I look forward to accompanying people on their way to greater well-being – with expertise, heart and personal commitment.

Yes. Pregnancy massage is adapted to your changing posture, with comfortable positioning and calm strokes. If you have any questions, feel free to ask me beforehand.
How much does a treatment at SADEA cost?
A treatment costs CHF 150.– (50 minutes), CHF 195.– (70 minutes) or CHF 240.– (90 minutes), including a reimbursement receipt for your health insurer.
