Reimbursement
How do I get my money back from my health insurer?
You first pay for the treatment yourself, directly at SADEA, and receive a reimbursement receipt with all the details your health insurer needs. You submit this receipt to your supplementary insurer via app, online or by post. Your insurer then transfers the share provided for in your plan – with no deductible and no medical prescription.
The amount depends on your plan. Please check briefly with your insurer before the first treatment — I will gladly give you all the information you need for this.

Which insurance covers the costs?
Your supplementary insurance for complementary or alternative medicine covers part of the costs. SADEA is registered with EMR, ASCA and SNE and recognised by Visana, so most supplementary insurers reimburse treatments. Compulsory basic insurance under the KVG does not pay for massages at SADEA. Other supplementary policies, such as hospital insurance, usually do not cover massages either.

What do EMR, ASCA and SNE mean?
EMR, ASCA and SNE are registers that check the training and continuing education of complementary medicine therapists. Health insurers rely on these registers before reimbursing treatments through supplementary insurance. SADEA is registered with all three and is also recognised by Visana. That is why you can submit your reimbursement receipt to most supplementary insurers.
Are there subscriptions or packages?
No. At SADEA there are no subscriptions and no packages. You pay for each appointment individually: CHF 150.– for 50 minutes, CHF 195.– for 70 minutes or CHF 240.– for 90 minutes. This means you make no commitment and decide for yourself after each treatment whether and when you would like to come back.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions about prices and health insurance
Your question is not listed? Send me a short message — reply on the same working day.
Does basic insurance cover a massage?
No. Basic insurance does not pay for massages at SADEA. A contribution to the costs is only possible through supplementary insurance for complementary medicine.
How much will my health insurer pay?
That depends on your insurance plan. Supplementary insurance often covers a percentage per treatment up to an annual maximum. You will find the exact figures in your policy, or your insurer can tell you.
Do I have to pay the deductible first?
No. Reimbursement is made through your supplementary insurance, not your basic insurance, so the deductible does not apply. You pay for the treatment at the practice and receive the agreed share back from your insurer.
Do I need a prescription from a doctor?
Not for treatment at SADEA. Some supplementary insurers require a medical recommendation for reimbursement – it is best to check this with your insurer before the first appointment.
What happens if I need to cancel an appointment?
Cancellation is free of charge up to 24 hours before. Simply call or send an email to info@sadea.ch.
Are the prices the same for all treatments?
Yes. Whether medical massage, lymphatic drainage, sports massage, pregnancy massage, foot reflexology or back & neck treatment – the price depends only on the duration.
